They're cute when they're alseep!
I too have dipped into using my CC's for things like gas & food (trust me I'd rather be in debt for a flat screen). It kills me to have a balance. But right now we don't have a choice. One thing I've been doing it using all the food in the house b4 shopping. Even when we're not in the mood for pasta again!Hang in there, it's bound to get better!

there's no method to my madness
times are gnarly for everyone...especially with somuch cash going to high mortgages and insanely expensive grocery prices (caused from gas spikes)...I sometimes get nervous - like does anyone actually own anything or is it all credit debt? will we have an economy when our kids get older? can anyone get out from behind the eightball? the debt scenario ain't cool. but, we've been pushed to spend spend and now, it's a catch 22- normal life is way too expensive...so , I feel your pain is what I'm trying to say.

dishing the dirt, cleaning the chaos
financial burdens are massive- there are only a few ways to get out of the masses and into the comfort zone...still working on that strategy. I'll let you know if I figure it out!Not working for the man and winning the lottery seem to be two very hard-to-achieve options. Other than that, we're all on the same ship...the ship of debt...see my post!http://www.mybaby.com/Journal/dustbunny/Item/2600/Paycheck_to_PaycheckLife_on_the_SHIP_OF_DEBT.htm

Life is crazy but wonderful.
I understand what you are going through. We have saved up some money and I was so proud to have some money in the bank just in case something happened. Well who would have known that basics would become that something. With the cost of everything going up, except the paycheck of course, this is common. We only have a little left in our savings now, but I try not to let it get to me. My hubby started taking the bus to and from work, yeah it takes his commute from 2 hours to 6 but it saved us nearly $100 a month in gas. Look at all your bills, call the phone company and see if they have deals that will lower your phone bill, change your cable, check your insurance policies, don't go out to eat, find places where you can save $5 or $10 a month, you may be surprised that there are some areas where you can save money. It adds up quickly. Have a yard sale, sell on ebay, I have done all of these things. But first relax, like my mom has always told me, give your worries to the Lord and he will provide. So far it has always worked. Good luck to you. I know how you feel, it is hard when you need something and you don't have the money.
