VIrus in the day care

Posted October 2, 2007 at 11:10PM by DocBecca
Walking wild child on board! Watch out!

There has been a stomach virus going through day care  and I am still not sure if Taylor had it or not Three times she spewed her milk after nursing but I was so engorged she probably got double she was used to. And she has been off her solid food intake too, but she plays cackles, doesn' t cry until she is fighting sleep at night. Oh yeah, and she just broke in 2 bottom teeth. Sooooo, I am trying to keep myself together and not go into freak out mode. And then there's my husband who is mad because I don' t get the hint he's interested in sex when he says he's going to go lay down (he sleeps in another room because we both snore horribly and one cannot sleep well when the other falls asleep first) Ah, but that's an entirel ydifferent story......

  Mommy of 2 Girls!

Just keep an eye on little one, fever is the best indicator of problem. As for the sex thing-well husbands seem to revert to acting like children as soon as the kids are born!

  Life is crazy but wonderful.

It was probably the teeth. My son would always get sick and cranky when he was cutting teeth. As for the sex thing, tell him that the most romantic thing a man can do for his woman is give her a break from household chores and children. Doing the dishes could be the best thing for his sex life:)

I love my job, it gives me a break from my kids!

You feel so helpless when the kiddo are sick, hopefully she didn't catch the bug. All you can do there is wash her hands. KIT, KIT - keep it togther. Tell your husband to use his words so you know what he wants! ;)

dishing the dirt, cleaning the chaos

you are not alone...and when it rains, it pours (viruses to teething to sleeplessness) and well the hubby-go-night-night guilt trip is just enough to make you totally ignore him...good work, you'll get through this :)I like that KIT KIT remark although I'd like to add on to it: KIT, KIT or you'll see mommy throw a fit...

Having the time of my life!

Hi DocBecca. My daughter's name is Taylor also! She is 13 months old today. She has been cutting teeth constantly over the last month. She has cut 6 teeth so far and is miserable when they begin to break through. Although she has not spewed her milk out. She has had slight fevers and all. But rest assured as soon as that tooth comes through she is fine. I would, just like WILMom indicated, keep an eye on the fever. As for sex, what is that? I can't remember anymore. I remember it for awhile after my son was born, he is 5 now, but now I have NO idea what it is........LOL. Someday..........
