Elastic Breasts

Posted November 26, 2007 at 12:01AM by FrecklQn

This may be a bit too personal for some. . .and maybe too much information for others, but I must vent and confess. I just came from the bra store my grandmother referred me to. First off, the store has the name "Bertha" in it, everything is priced higher than VS, and for the love of god, I'm only 30 years old but shopping at the same bra store as my 86-year old grandmother!!!

Why, you ask?! Well, I'm now 5 1/2 months prego for baby #3, and have grown out of my only bra that fits. You would think I might be able to use a bra from one of my previous pregnancies, but nope. No go. Each pregnancy my breasts seem to grow even bigger, and without fail, I bust (no pun intended) through the bras until I have to get a new one. So, since I'm still pretty early in the pregnancy, and the bra I just outgrew was a cheapy at Marshall's, I decided to invest in a nicer, more supportive one that does not make me feel like I'm wearing a corset all day. I remember when I was a girl, my mother used to wait for the end of the day so she could unhook her bra and let the ladies loose. She is very well endowed (I only seem to take afer her during pregnancy/nursing!) and I never understood why she really wanted to take the bra off. Even when I started wearing bras, I could wear it all day/night and not have any problem. But, now that I'm hauling these heavy milkers around all day, the first thing on my mind when I put my bra on is when can I take this sucker off, and not offend anyone?!

If you think I might be exaggerating on my size a bit, let me enlighten you on my elastic breast history.

Pre-pregnancies: Solid 34C
Pregnancy 1: 36C
Nursing 1: 36E
Post-Pregnancy1: 34B
Pregnancy 2: 36D
Nursing 2: 36G (yes, they make Gs!)
Post-Pregnancy2: 34A/B
Pregnancy 3: 36DD
Nursing 3: To be continued. . ..but I'm putting my money on an H or I, and then training bra for post-pregnancy!

I was never one for plastic surgery. But, after this type of workout on my skin, I'm thinking a simple breast lift might not be a bad idea some day.

Isn't pregnancy beautiful?!!

  Life is crazy but wonderful.

I know what you mean. Before my daughter I was 32A, then I went up to a 36D!! I could not believe it. I settled at 36C and did not get any bigger for my son, but now I'm down to 34B. I was always small and could not believe it when I was pregnant for my daughter. I only nursed her for a few days, and I did not nurse my son, so I don't know what nursing would have done to me.

yeah the people who say your breasts get smaller after having kids lie. Maybe some go back to normal but mine never did.

oh yeah, that's what happens to me. I was a solid C pre-prego, and went to B after my first pregnancy, and an A/B after my second pregnancy.
Although, I should add that maybe it's not necessarily that I'm getting smaller, but that gravity is taking its toll!

dishing the dirt, cleaning the chaos

I have found the amazing thing to be that the top half is like rubber and the bottom half is like lead...wierd, right? I can't get my ass to go anywhere "in" but it grows slowly and solidly "ou"

The bra that inspired me to write this entry is amazing. The brand is Natori, and the sales lady said they are mostly found in NYC, but she decided to try them out. The first weekend she had them in the store, 4 women tried them on, and she sold each one. Unfortunately, they cost 50 bucks.

Having the time of my life!

These posts had me laughing! My breasts grew to a nice proportion, but I was never really big. Maybe my back is what took everything up. However, my breasts went back to their small size and they sag. I like to think that they are just sleeping or that I will grow out of puberty, at 42. All the weights at the gym have not lifted them one tiny bit. Even my husband wonders where they went.
