Just because I own coach purses

Diggin the motherhood gig

Yes, I can be a bit of a purse snob. I dont care about shoes, clothes or jewelry, but I have a purse thing.

They dont need to be expensive either, I just love bags! I even have Wal mart and Target bags. Sure I have quite a few coach purses and wristlets, but that does not mean I am always carrying one. Kohls and Burlington coat factory always have cute bags. I just love things that hold other things...I love to re-organize my purse, trade them out every once in a while.

So I am about to go trade out my dark chocolate brown Coach purse for a Apt 9 brand purse from kohls cause it has lots of pockets. I do hate that a $100-$450 purse is hangin out in my closet going to waste, but dont worry it wont collect dust for long.

Its my little guilty pleasure. Well, that and anything Spongebob. or Green, or anything with bumble bees and shamrocks. I am a weird one! But Thats why I am a great Mommy. You gotta be a little crazy anyway.

I love my job, it gives me a break from my kids!

Purses don't care what dress size you are and go well with sweat pants.

yes, I am a bag girl too- except a $450 bag ain't gonna happen, lol BUT $250 highlights in one sitting that won't last 2 months, that's a different story :)

  So Whatcha Want?

"The Sak" shopper. Oh, this bag is one of the greatest loves of my life. The soft leather, the burgundy satin liner . . . it's the stuff dreams are made of.

Think of a baby toy...well the big ones anyway. I bet I have it in my living room.

In my immediate view I have

and exersaucer

a bouncy chair

a jumparoo

a large playmat

a walker (dont freak, I watch her like a hawk in it)

a big basket full of toys

a swing

a healthy high chair (why are high chairs friggin huge?)

So I live in a townhome.....but really it feels like a mini-toys r us.

  Life is crazy but wonderful.

I know the feeling. My son loved his walker. The way our house is set up it is a big circle and he would walk in circles. Happy memories:)

the Motherhood gig

Diggin the motherhood gig

I never thought I would adapt to motherhood. I hated mini-vans, poopy diapers and boogers. I also loved sleeping in until noon and going out on saturday nights and drinking myself silly. But one day my life changed. Its funny, I had imagined this beautiful moment where I found some cute way to tell my husband that we were goin to have a baby. Instead, I knew something was up when my usual pre-period symptoms were MIA and my boobs were KILLING me. So I grabbed a 2 pack of tests and when I went home and it was positive, I called my husband and said in an almost depressed tone that hey, yeah I am pregnant. "cool!" came over the phone.

BUT after what seemed like the LONGEST pregnancy in history (I swear!) and a 32 hour labor and delivery it all seems like a blur and now my little girl is 7 months old. I suddenly woke up one day and realized that hey, I got this! I am organized, confident and actually (gasp) ENJOYING it! Motherhood appeals to my strengths...organization, problem solving, creativity, child like imagination and energy, and LOVE of toys! I also love teaching and playing. So after growing up the youngest in my family and thinking babies are gross (well they still are) I surprised my family and myself by being a good mommy. ...and to top it off..I want a minivan!!!!

and dont worry, once baby is asleep sometimes I raid my wine fridge. A girls gotta have a hobby! (besides scrapbooking every single moment of your babies life!)

Oh, I hear you. I feel the same way. I swear that my husband hides his stuff and then decides to put it the laundry room. And don't get me started on him putting his clothes away. He is perfectly content digging out of the folded laundry basket or leaves his hanging things in the laundry room which is also our bathroom. Laundry is no fun.

I'm not alone? You pretty much nailed it- especially the tight jeans and the clothes I slept in comments- yes, it's pretty sad
