My Mom has moved back to the East Coast from living on the other side of the country for 28 years and now lives a few states away. She visits when she can, and it's such a huge help and wonderful to have her much closer now.

Last time she was visiting she wasn't at the house for more then 10 min and DD asked, "When are you leaving Meme?" Luckily my Mother has a good sense of humor and didn't take it personally. When it was time for her to leave DD wanted her to take a toy starfish with her as a memento of her time spent with us. As Meme was packing up DD wanted her starfish back and was kept asking when Meme was going!

But as soon as my Mom's car was past the driveway, DD said, "I miss Meme." This kid is a nut.
