I try to learn lessons from others and I'll share this one with ya'll.

Last night I had dinner with some friends who took their kids to the beach & although they put sunscreen on the kiddos before they hit the beach, they didn't reapply after the kids were playing in the water. And well, the kids got their first sunburn. My friends felt terrible.

Lesson learned:

• Reapply sunscreen after the kids get wet, even if the sunscreen says waterproof
• Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours
• Check the expiration date or chuck it out if it’s over 2 years
