I love my job, it gives me a break from my kids!
Well, if you're not preggers or he's not climbing out then keep him in there for as long as you can. Or IMO until 2.5, then they get the idea that they stay in their bed through the night and they're not trying to exploure the house while you're sleeping. I moved my DD when she was around 29 months into a twin because her brother was coming and it was the right age for her.

my youngest is 29 months and I still have him in a crib. I posted this question here too a while ago and people said as long as he isn't climbing out yet he is fine.

agreed... if you have another on the way then you have to move him before the baby comes so that he doesnt feel like the new baby stole his bed. Other than that no big deal.

hi well i think like most if the baby does not climb out let the baby stay but also it is good to switch if you feel that the baby is ready it's like potty trainig it all comes when they are ready

Good GOD no, I don't have one on the way. He just seems to sleep well anywhere but his crib. The other night I kept him on the couch because he was up for 2 hours in the middle of the night and daddy had a marathon the next day. He totally slept all night. In the morning, I went upstairs to let the dogs out and get ready to go watch the race with the intent to let him catch up on some sleep, but low and behold he got up, didn't freak being in a weird place and wandered upstairs to find me and get ready. He's not climbing out yet, but he's trying, so I just wondered what everyone thought!
