So, when people think of milestones in their baby's lives they usually think of things like smiling, crawling, walking and talking. But what about those other fun milestones like eating a cheerio without choking or pooping in the bathtub ( which my son did for the first time last week...awww) or waving goodbye at the appropriate time (not 5 minutes after the person they were waving to exited the premises.) ??
Well, this morning we had an adorable first. My husband was making tea, which he does every morning, and Sully was in the kitchen waiting for the kettle to whistle--he thinks it's hilarious. After the kettle whistled, B took it off the burner to pour his tea and the wee man pointed at the kettle and said "woooooo. woooooo" in his best high pitch tea kettle voice. So now he can imitate the whistling tea kettle.
I'm such a proud mother.
