I work for a living. Now days how can you get by on a single income? I am only 17 weeks and was put on bedrest today. Now I know that's not that bad. But my DR said he does not forsee me working for much longer this pregnancy. We are trying to save $$ for when i was on maternity leave. I just don't know what we are going ti do if i'm put on bedrest longer. I really need a job I can do from home

it is hard but we do it. I quit my job two years ago after I had my second child. I worked with my first child thinking we could never do it. Granted we did have more debt and it would have been harder but we actually committed to the change it is amazing how you can cut back. We even bought our house the year we went down to one salary. We cut back on a lot of stuff. We don't eat out anymore. We used to eat breakfast out every weekend. That adds up to close to $100 a month. Cut that out. No lunches out either. We have a strict budget now. We now save if there is something we want or need. Wait a few months instead of instantly buying it. It is a different way of living but I like it.

  Life is crazy but wonderful.

It is hard to think of losing that income. When I left work, I was nervous, but we manage ok. You need to consider the expenses of working. Think about child care, the expenses of a second car, eating out, clothes, gas, etc. This all adds up, when you look at all that you will see that your expenses will go down a lot when you leave work. I am also a tax preparer so I can do that at home, and it brings in some extra income. If you are good with numbers they have a class with h&r block and you can do taxes at home. I didn't take this course, I was an accountant in my former life.

I understand it hurts,it really hurts but there are some sacrifices you have to make in life for your wellness in the long run...Work out what is necessary and what is unnecessary for you....Just do some cost cutting and avoid unnecessary expenses and you will surely be able to do some saving...

just recently had dinner with my aunt, uncle, and my cousin Joe, who now lives in California, so I haven’t seen him in years. He was asking if I was still working and I said no. I said I was hoping to do something from home if I could but it just seems like I have tried everything out there and it all has failed for some reason or another. And I hate working outside the home. But I hate that I can’t contribute financially. Joe introduced me to this company called Cyberwize, and said a lot of stay at home mom's are doing this. He started selling for this company a few years ago. I decided to go ahead and give it a try. So far I have had a really good response to this and I am finally contributing financially which feels great. If anyone is interested, feel free to send me a message. You can learn more about the company here: http://www.vtblast.com/
