Well I am in Portland and I have an apartment and at long last internet. Well after my adventures with the trip to Ohio the visit with my family was nice. My parents and in laws got to spend some good quality time with DD. We also had a super trip to Myrtle Beach. Aside form the fact that all we could eat was chinese and bagles. Glad to be done visiting though.
    DH on the other hand did not have such a great time. After he left Ohio he had to re arrange the trailer because of his rush job. Then on the drive up he got a flat tire on the trailer and had to wait on the side of the road for Cal Trans to come and help him with a lug that he didn't have. It took 5 hours. Then  less than an hour later he got another flat on the trailer and did not have another spare. So then he had to wait until the next morning to find somewhere that would sell him a tire on Sunday. That lost him almost 24 hours on his drive. Then when he got to Portland he ended up sleeping in his car for over a week because he didn't want to spend the money on a hotel that allowed dogs. He could not find an apartment because he kept being the 2nd or 13th person to see every place. He was not very happy. The apartment he did get for us is not that nice but not horrible, and it is far away from where we were hoping to be, but it is not very expensive. So hopefully we will be able to save a lot for our house.
    Anyway Portland is beautiful and I am really enjoying exploring everything. The vegan food is great here. I hope to be able to post more regularly. Yay for the internet.
