Massage therapist, martial artist, butt-kickin' momma.
Repetition...it can drive a mother crazy. However, that's how they learn. There have been many things that have driven me a little bonkers, like reading the same book four or five times in a row every night or watching the same movie every day. My advice to you is to just let it happen. Have you gone through the books with her and asked her what the sounds are? That will make it more exciting for the both of you. I also wouldn't worry too much about whether or not you're making the most of the books. The fact that you are sitting with her and going through them is enough. What a good mommy you are!!!

dishing the dirt, cleaning the chaos
Hey! Ok, so my son did that with the baby einstein animal flashcards...to step it up, I photocopied each one and made a matching game out of them...or just stick with it..she'll drop that book suddenly and pick another!
