Splish Splash Sob

Posted May 22, 2007 at 1:20PM by cosmoblue

Well we are going to the pool today for DD's swimming lesson. This is her third class and I am hoping it goes better than the first two. The first class she cried for the larger part of the 30 minute class. The second one she cried no tears for about a third of the time. I am hoping that there are no sad sounding sobs. She is the only baby in the class who cries that much. I guess that it is a good thing that we signed her up for the class though since apparently she needed a gentle introduction.

I love my job, it gives me a break from my kids!

It's so great that you are doing swimming lessons with her, water safty is key at any age. It will get better! We took lessons with a another baby who was not a fan of the water, but now she's a fish.

We waited until our girl was about two. She has been swimming ever since on her own. We did the same thing with our second girl (3), we expect her to be able to swim this summer without any life jacket.
