Well, today was an adventure. We went swimming without my DH today. He had to work and since we have reached the bottom of our SAHM fund he couldn't afford to give his shift up. We got out of the door a little late no big deal. We got a parking space with no problem. We made it through the class with lots of smiles and even a little back floating. Then the trouble began. We got out of the pool and I kept dropping everything as I tried to leave the pool area. So everything got wet. Then I tried to put DD down so that I could dry off. She screamed like I was killing her. I tried to hold her and dry off, but I ended up calling in the help of a friend who had her mom with her for an extra set of hands. Then after we all got dry we made it to the car. Then there was screaming at being strapped into the carseat. She fell asleep in the car and of course i woke her up trying to get her out which brought more crying and screaming. Then I tried to take a shower with her. That was a nightmare. Then I tried to give her a bath which she normally loves and more screaming. Then I wanted to nurse her down for her nap and she wouldn't stop crying and kept biting me. So I had to bounce her on the ball to calm her down and finally she is asleep. I need a much better plan for next week.
