I was brought back to my childhood yesterday. Summer days filled with friends, ice cream, and biking all over town. We grow up much too fast. Watching the twins learning to ride a two-wheeler was amazing! They took to it so quickly! Now it is like they have been doing it all their lives. I'm very proud, yet very sad about this. My little girls aren't so little anymore and I am reminded every time they show how independant they really are. But, I guess that means I am doing my job with this parenting business. I was given these children to teach and nurture until they, too, grow up too fast. But until that day comes when they think back to their childhood, I am going to let them enjoy their summers' filled with friends and ice cream and biking.
