Is three the new two?

Posted October 4, 2007 at 9:41PM by jlk
Only Gal in a house full of boys (even the dog & rabbit)

I'm a Mom of two lovely boys and I'm done. Well maybe. I would love to have another baby, but without all the work of having a baby. I just want all the sweet moments, not the getting up in the middle of night moments, or having my milk leak out in public moments, or both of us crying moments. Maybe because it's still really fresh in my mind -LOL!

I'm not sure if I'm in love with having a third, or in love with the idea that maybe I'm not done. Maybe it's because I have 3 on the brain but I've been seeing a lot of parents with 3 kids. I want to tap them on their shoulder and ask, how is it really? It maybe a phase. IDK. Maybe it's because I'm packing up some of the newborn clothes my youngest grew out of and can't bring myself to get rid of them.

sigh. I also worry that I've been bless with two healthy boys and maybe the next baby won't be so lucky.

Maybe I just needed to get it all out. Sorry for all the vomit!

life is beautiful so live every moment

how nice would it be if all of us could have babies along with the sweet momments and without the painful ones but we shouldnt daydream.. so if your heart says go for the baby go for it..all pain will go away withits smile.. lol :)

  Life is crazy but wonderful.

This made me think of my aunt. She had three kids and when I asked about that, she said two was the hardest, three was a breeze. I guess it is like adding one more rock when you are already carrying 50 pounds, you just don't feel the difference.

dishing the dirt, cleaning the chaos

I have three and it is crazy because each one is so unique...I can't imagine the family without baby N...he's 2 now and his personality is coming alive...it's cool (do it, do it, do it) kidding choose what's right for you...db :)

I love my job, it gives me a break from my kids!

vtmomof2 - very funny, but I'm sure very true! We took the aproach with less emotion and looked at what our life would be like when we talked about adding a 2nd, the pro's and con's and honestly what it would mean for us $wise too. That's a reality you have to think about.

Good luck and let us know how it goes!
