My 2.5 year old daughter is deep in the learning process of potty training and doing a darn fine job at it. However all our hard work was being undermined by the Daycare who kept putting her in diapers and not really insisting on taking her to the toilet (even when she said she didn't need to - coz we all know how that goes). So on weekends she would do great with us, but as soon as she went back to Daycare, she would go back to her old habits.
Any way, to cut a long story short, a good friend told us a neat trick that I would like to share with you. She told us to start sending her to Daycare with her "big girl undies". That way the Daycare is forced to monitor her and forced to make sure that she goes potty at regular intervals and does not wet herself. So far she has gone this whole week without an acceident. I am hoping by praising her so much, I don't jinx her, but i am sooooo proud of her!
P.S. She looks so adorable in her Dora and My Little Pony big girl undies!
