Hi All.  Thank you for the warm welcome!

I learned about this site from a commercial I saw on TV.

A bit about me.. I have three wonderful children(don't we all?) from my previous marriage.  My son is in the 8th grade, my oldest daughter is in 6th and my youngest is in 4th.  I am newly married ( a year ago) and my husband and I have just started trying to add a little addition on to our family.  My children love my new husband, (John) and he just adores them.  THANK GOD! 

I teach special needs children in the public school system  I work in a K-5 setting with students who are severly emotinally disturbed.  Needless to say, my work can be challenging, but I love it and my "kids".  I currenlty have 13 students who are in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th grades. I work daily with 3 other teachers and a behavioral specialist.. and we work not only to teach, but to help them function in a group setting.

My husband is an EMT, and has recently been promoted to a supervisior posistion.  He works nights, and has a crazy schedule.  It has been an adjustment for all of us as we get used to his new schedule.  But, together we are making it work!
