A song for your babies!

Posted August 8, 2007 at 4:03PM in Parenting General by dvd1711 | Back

Ten little fingers, ten little toes
How much I love him, I will always show
Ten little fingers, ten little toes
Where my love stops, nobody knows

You and I we'll go walking hand in hand
On the beaches we'll build castles in the sand
To the mountains on the top where they'll say
David Cameron (or your child's name here) is the sunshine in our day

Ten little fingers, ten little toes
How much I love him, I will always show
Ten little fingers, ten little toes
Where my love stops, nobody knows

From the book, "The Healing Pages" by David Vincent Dec (that's me!)

I wrote this song for my son and used to sing it to him often in the tub or a lullaby. When I asked what song he wanted me to sing he would say, "Fingers and Toes" Feel free to use this with your baby - don't tell the publisher...lol. Kids love to hear a song with their own name in it.

Peace.
/Dave

dishing the dirt, cleaning the chaos

yeah, that's really a sweet little song. I can't really hold a tune but I think it's good enough to eclipse that detail :)

btw, of course I had to google you, mr author-dad...nice
