Kid Surplus is an awesome online resource for good quality discounted kids stuff.  I have always bought my kid shoes from them.  They carry Stride Rite and other good brands at a lower price.  I get my kids sized somewhere and then order from them.

If you are in the Burlington VT area there is a bigger bonus.  They also have a storefront in Williston where you can go shop or order online and pick up at the store.  The website tends to carry more things then the store.  Last Christmas I did all my ordering from their website and then just went and picked it up at the store.
