Confession time: Worse place you’ve ever left a di

I love my job, it gives me a break from my kids!

Confession time: Worse place you’ve ever left a diaper

Disclaimer – This topic doesn’t need to get into too many details, however while/or after you’ve "disposed" of a diaper I want to know if you were embarrassed or hoping no one was watching you get rid of the evidence.

Here's mine:

1.     A single friend's house

2.      Starbucks inside trash can

3.      Cloth diaper left in my own car after a warm day – Gag me

4.      At my old work when my kids came to visit & none of my co-workers had kids (only dogs)

5.      At a nice restaurant in the ladies bathroom where we were already getting "stink eye" b/c we brought a baby.

OK, time to 'fess up, what's yours?

I don’t believe I have ever done that but I did rush off to the grocery store once when my oldest just got up from a nap and didn’t give her time to figure out if she needed the “potty” and of course when we got to the store she had to pee, I had the cart, groceries, my youngest(still under a year and in a carrier on my chest) my purse etc and didn’t want to go to the hassle of the ladies room , so I went to the diaper section and grabbed a bag (needed them for my youngest anyway) and opened them up and put one on her as we stood there and then said okay-Pee. To get the full picture you have to imagine her doing the “dance” while I threw on the diaper. Potty training took a back seat that day to a frazzled mom

  Life is crazy but wonderful.

That happens sometimes! it is so hard to manage all that stuff at the grocery store. I could just a little one dancing and you frantically putting a diaper on her. Funny.

I once threw away a very poopy diaper in a patient room at the doctor's office, then noticed a sign on the wall asking you to take your dirty ones with you. It was one of those trash cans that is built into the counter, so there was really no way to retrieve the diaper without basically going in after it, which I wasn't about to do. I tried to play it off, but I have a feeling the stench probably gave me away.

I have never done it and I always make sure I wrap the diaper in a cover and then throw it to avoid the bad smell...

dishing the dirt, cleaning the chaos

I'd have to go with nice restaurants and on my own changing table...for like a whole day... and the room is clouded in stink when I put the kids to bed...

smasuzzo - my DH just had an experance like yours yesterday. A group of parents when to the local swimming creek and my 3 yr old said she had to go poop. DH opened a diaper from our 1 yr old and told her to get 'er done. And she did, perfect aim!

  Diggin the motherhood gig

well, maybe not funny places where I left it but I have changed her in her stroller in an arcade at the shore in a corner, I use the back of my SUV as a changing area on the go (try to park far away). I even have a tupperware with wipes, pad and extra diapers back there! I even changed her in her infant seat in a rest stop regular stall once since the changing table had a line. I sat on the john and pee'd while I changed her! I felt like a multi tasking genius. :o)
