Life is crazy but wonderful.
Maybe you should stand some and stretch, that way the baby isn't being pushed into your ribs. I had pain on one side for both of my kids, and couldn't sit right for my son. He was big, 10 lbs 5 oz, and I had to sit in a reclined position for the last 4-6 weeks. The tightening could be braxton hicks. You can always buy one of those belly belts, they hold your belly up and is suppose to relieve pain in your back. Call you doctor about the tightening just to be sure.

I love my job, it gives me a break from my kids!
My savior was going to yoga. I didn't do yoga before and a lot of the women in my preggo class hadn't either. It feels so good to stretch and they can teach you breathing to help make you comfy.

I've never done yoga either and i started doing it now and I think it's great! I started to have back pains too in my lower back (feels like it's coming from my tail bone) and when I do yoga and stretch it feels so much better.

Life brings surprises but the greatest is life!
I know how you feel. I had two kids back to back and one of them I delivered natural with no drugs, for 10 hours. That was no picnic. Anyways, I believe that what you are experiencing is normal. I read in a book that often expecting motehrs go thropugh cycles. You may feel great for a few weeks and then in the third trimester you start to feel exhausted as this is when the baby and yourself starts putting on the most weight. Not to mention key organs like the lungs are developing. I had to get pumped full of streiods because I was bleeding and dialated toward the end of my fifth month going into the middle of my sixth. Take it easy and do standing stretches. But don't overextend yourself. You can pull a painful muscle. (It has happened to me) But I don't think you are going to be able to competely get away from the discomfort as the baby moves like crazy in the last trimester. I hope I helped.

Thank you for all the advice. I am going to look into finding a yoga class. I feel a lot better today. The baby was really active last night and this morning. I wonder if that has anything to do with why I am feeling better (repositioning itself). Anyway I appreciate the responses.

OMG....a constant pain? I had a constant pain under my right breast too and it was my daughters foot just pushing right up against.it was still sore for a long time after I had her. She's 3 1/2 now and it's gone. I don't miss that at all. Made it tough to breathe sometimes too. i tried streching and she just wouldn't move. wish I could help you.
