Traveling with small children

Posted November 15, 2007 at 1:27PM in Domestic bliss - organization and tips by nikideaton | Back

My Thanksgiving tip would be if you have to travel a long distance by car or by plane with a small child to see if you can borrow any necessary baby equipment (ie- pack n play, stroller, carseat, bathseat) from friends of your relatives, local church preschools or anyone else.  This will cut down on the amount of stuff you need to bring.  I have heard that a lot of car companies also offer carseats to rent so that may be an option.  I would buy anything like diapers and wipes or baby food when you get to your destination so you have less to pack (or have your family buy it for you).

This can save you some space in the car or a lot less stuff to carry around the airport!  We all know it takes a lot of stuff to bring children anywhere!  Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
