So, now for the first hand experience with the service.
Last year I subscribed for three months to one of the vegetarian menu types they offer. What I liked:
1. It was great to get a refreshing list of recipes each week. Sometimes I open up my cookbooks and just stare at the same old ones I always make. This made it easy because I didn’t have to spend time searching online for new recipes.
2. The shopping list rocks
3. I didn’t always use every recipe for each day but it at least gave me ideas. So maybe I didn’t want to cook the particular pasta dish they gave me for that week it always at least inspired me to do something else.
4. I did find that even if I didn’t use all the recipes that week I referred back to them a lot.
5. Your account allows you to store all of your menus online so you can choose to print the ones you want but they are all archived for you.
What I didn’t like:
1. My main reason for giving it up was once summer came I started getting my veggies from our local CSA Farm share so what I got each week dictated what I was cooking and that did not fit with getting this menu planner.
That was pretty much my main reason. I did it for three months. I felt for the $3.31 it cost me per month it was a great service and the web site has wonderful info.
