Sneaky Chef Recipe: Creamy Chocolate Shake

Sneaky Chef

Creamy Chocolate Shake
PrepTime: 10 minutes
Serving Size: 2

Why deprive children of delicious milkshakes, if you can use them as a delivery system for some healthy nutrients? Avocado-technically a fruit but with the nutrients of a vegetable- lends a creaminess to this shake and yet it leaves almost no detectable taste beneath the yummy chocolate.

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups low-fat chocolate ice cream or frozen yoghurt
  • 1/4 ripe avocado
  • 1/4  cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Steps:
  1. Blend all ingredients together in a blender until smooth.
  2. Serve in tall glasses with a quick squirt of whipped cream and a straw.
