You need to take some time at night or on the weekends when you can leave your child with your husband and actually leave the house. Go shopping, yoga class, sit in a coffee shop or whatever. Just escape for an hour. It will help.

Rockergirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrl hit it on the head again!I worry she is holding onto you because she does not know the difference between you and herself. She needs to know if you leave, you will come back. I know it isn't attachment parenting but if you need the time - and my gut tells me you feel guilty for wanting it, nevermind taking it - try this:Next time dad is around, go to the potty by yourself with the door closed just for a second. She will cry, but just try it for a second. Then, open the door. She will recover because she learned, "when mommy goes away, she comes back to play." In no time you'll be enjoying those cosmos with the girls with no baby and no guilt ;-)Maybe not what you're looking for, but I think it's best for your baby if you take care of yourself, too - actually, first!Peace./dvd
