Do-It-Yourself Easter Bonnets
Easter Craft Ideas for Kids

These Easter crafts are so much fun to make, your kids will be hopping up and down with egg-citement!

You'll need:
Poster Board
Tissue paper
other decorative items (buttons, lace, ribbon etc)

Cut a large circle from the poster board-about 18 inches in diameter.
Cut another hole in the middle of the circle, big enough to fit around
your child's head. It should look like a donut. The next step is easy...
Using craft glue or a glue gun add the decorations to the rim of the hat.
Use a hole punch to add the ribbon tie.

Paper Plate Bonnet

You'll need:
paper plate
ribbon
hole punch
glue
supplies to decorate the hat i.e. lace, bows,
ribbons, beads, costume jewelry, chenille stems,
feathers, felt, crayons, poster paint

Instructions:
Make two holes in the rim of the plate before decorating. The holes should be opposite one another. Lace 10" pieces of ribbon into the holes. When tied, these will secure the hat. Now your child can have some fun decorating the hat in any way they like, Lace, ribbons, flowers, beads ...any thing goes!
