I dont blame ya for letting him hang on to it during the change. Ya know its funny I was just thinkin about this recently. There is SO much pressure from "experts" and "docs" to get your kid off the bottle. Honestly, is it harmful to him in any way? I dont think so. Naptime and Bedtime is fine by me! Its a little comfort. I got my daughter these "nuby" sippy cups that if you ask me are practically bottles, with a very very soft spout. They are like 2 bucks at Walmart etc and She went to those no problem. Hope that helps. But I really think its no big deal unless you really want to get rid of it. The other idea? Cold turkey and screaming. Not my fav. But I have seen near three year olds with bottles still.
