Getting Rid of Burnt Popcorn Smell in Microwave

Goofing around with my babies - Big and Lil

My DH occassionally burns popcorn in the microwave and that horrible smell lingers for days! I found a way to get rid of that burnt smell in the microwave online and thought I would share.

Boil a large glass bowl of water, cinnamon, and 1-2 tsp vanilla extract. After you brought water mixture to a boil in microwave, let water/spice mixture cool in there for 15 minutes. Clean inside walls with the mixture and wipe dry. TADAH--No more burnt smell!!

What a great idea- Thanks for that! When I used to work a co-worker of mine used to burn popcorn in the microwave all the time. It was nasty.
