Wow!! What a mess. My oldest grand daughter who is 30 months old had never had a hair cut. She wanted to be like my daughter, who is 17 and so we ventured to the stylist to get a trim. After the third salon because the first two would not cut her hair because they said she was to little for a haircut, the third one finally decided that she was going to cut her hair, well I again said trim just the tips off, just enough to make her experience a haircut, if you know what I mean. Well her hair is now above her shoulder... before at her mid back. The lady then said well it was dead and needed to be cut this way... First of all how do you know when hair is dead??? Does it stand up and say "hello I am dead". Second of all who is she to take this hair in her own hands. As you can tell in the picture she has beautiful hair, unfortunately now its short beautiful hair. I did not pay for the cut and as I was leaving the stylist made the comment that she had cut many hispanic kids hair and I was so upset I said well how dumn are you, she isnt hispanic she is half african-american and white. I guess her hair will grow back again but it just apols me that people take things into their own professional manner as she called it when it is not their decision to do so... I will try to put a picture up so then we can really compare. Of course she still is beautiful and always will be but the point is as stated. Thanks for listening.
