Thank Heaven for potatoes!

Goofing around with my babies - Big and Lil

Here are some tips for potatoes and the things you can do with them, including how to keep them from budding!

• To keep potatoes from budding, place an apple in the bag with the potatoes.

• If you accidentally over-salt a dish while it is still cooking, drop in a peeled potatoe and it will absorb the excess salt for an instant "fix me up."

• Potatoes will take food stains off of your fingers. Just slice and rub raw potatoes on the stains and rinse with water.

Do you have any potato tips to add to the list?

  Diggin the motherhood gig

I remember cutting them in half and carving "stamps" out of them. It was just a fun little craft. Also they are an incredible edible! Full of vitamins and really yummy!!!
