Pre-school search

Well, the results are in and fam and I are expecting a Burlington area landing date of Sept. 1.  Finally.  My question to those of you who live in that area, what are some reputable pre-schools?  My husband and I would love to place our 3 YO son in a positive place that will foster his person.  Okay, we're just looking for a good place with a good reputation.  Any advice/location possibilities?  It looks as if we will be living very close to, if not in Burlington, so Burlington proper, Essex, Williston and Shelburne would be where we would send him.

The first question is price an issue? If not there are many many great choices around here. From more mainstream to alternative. Are you looking to actually start this fall? That will be tough unless you are trying to get in somewhere now. Most are doing enrollment right now if they are not already full. here are my pics

I can only speak from experience but I loved Trinity. We don't go there anymore. If we needed full time care I would go back there in a heartbeat.

If I could afford it I would choose Heart Works, the Waldorf school in Shelburne, the Children's school, The school house - any of those alternative schools around here. I would love love love to be able to go to one of them.

Good luck

Price is an issue. And I didn't even think about them filling up, now. We may just have to wait until we're up there and piece-meal it for a while. It's not extremely important, just something we had considered doing. I will most likely stay-at-home for a while, but having sometime to go off by myself will be imperative. Thank you so much for your suggestions!

yeah right now is prime time to sign up for preschools and they book out super fast here. Most have waiting lists. It is also hard to find them that are not full day programs. Trinity only does full day. Part time is considered three full days. You don't have to stay full day but you have to pay full day. I loved it there though. I would go back in a heartbeat if I could. BTC preschool offers super super affordable preschool - three days a week 2 hours each day. I believe they are already full but it is always worth checking since people come and go. My son went there too. They don't advertise though - it is by word of mouth only. Well hit us up if you have any other questions.
