Tips to be a Supermom

Goofing around with my babies - Big and Lil

How do some of moms accomplish EVERYTHING? Maintaining a spotless home, taking care of kids, working, laundry, cooking meals, etc...all while finding time to exercise and get a haircut, etc..?? I'm a SAHM that works from home part-time right now, and I really struggle to keep the house clean and get meals on the table. We have one 14 mo. old son that keeps me on my toes, and he's so much fun right now. I feel like I'm always doing laundry, cleaning up the kitchen...etc.. but nothing ever gets done, ya know? Am I making any sense? Any suggestions? Thanks!!

Honestly, I've been finding it difficult myself. Because when I was in India we had house maids who would stay with us and help us through. And the maid service also didn't cost much.

I don't believe they do accomplish everything. unless they have nannies and house cleaners galore - and if that's the case more than likely they aren't with the kids enough. I would rather have a messy house and happy kids then a spotless house and ignored kids. That being said I never imagined how little I would get done once I started staying home. The chores still wait until the weekend. But if I was doing them all during the week what would my kids be doing?

When I was out on maternity leave I got less done most days. The difference was that when my Husband got home from work I wouldn't feel guilty about taking time away from my little one to do laundry, dishes, etc....Now that I am back at work I don't feel right taking time away from my baby to do those chores so they wait. Some times I get 1 thing done a night sometimes it has to wait for the weekend. I sometimes worry about the effect of not having a clean house on my child. Right now he isn't crawling or walking so if the floors get a little dirty it can wait until the weekend. I can see that being more of a problem later. I don't think many Moms can accomplish everything. My advise is don't be too hard on yourself Super Moms are rarely Happy Moms.
