what crazy foods do your sick kids like?

Goofing around with my babies - Big and Lil

My toddler is down with fever since last week and I'm having a tough time getting him to eat something. I would offer him bread, rice, mashed potato, porridge....and he refuses to eat any of these. I got really frustrated trying to get my sick baby to eat. So, I opened up a pack of barbecue flavoured Pringles for myself... and there he stretches his hand and asks me for a chip. Without any second thoughts I just gave him a chip to eat. I was only too happy that he was willing to eat something.

I'm not totally convinced by the idea of giving him Pringles to eat as a  meal. So I was wondering what else could I offer to him. I know that I've got to get more creative but, I'm depressed and my mind is not working...so, I need some tips and ideas on foods to give to kids when they are sick??  or what worked for your kids when they were sick?

think about when you are really sick - you don't usually want to eat much either. Soup and crackers, buttered toast, buttered noodles. Think plain and simple. Make sure you push the fluids. Lots and lots and lots of water.
