eating out: Is it worth it?

Posted June 27, 2008 at 4:13PM in Discipline - Suggestions and Tips by Kelmcmom | Back

Diggin the motherhood gig

So I wanted to take a survey- How many of you eat out with your kids, how often, and how do you make it work?

I have a bag of tricks when I go out with my daughter, but a 14 months old attention span and tolerance level in a high chair is not so good....so we have resorted to alot of take out. Which, I gotta tell you, isn't so bad. Dont have to tip, its BYOB, and your kid can run around all they want. :o)

there's no method to my madness

hear you! totally true. I bring snacks and I've found if you can sneak a juice box instead of a $2 plastic cup, that helps. I split things or we order one appetizer we all like (nachos and get beer & dessert...

We don't that much anymore now that we have two kids and one full time income but we used to all the time when we just had the one kid. I actually found if you start at an early age it helps get them used to it. I never had any issues with taking my kids out to dinner with us. They love it because it is such a treat.

Goofing around with my babies - Big and Lil

Eating out for me, with my baby has always been a bad experience. I vote for take aways too.
