dishing the dirt, cleaning the chaos

It's summer time and the beach is calling. It can be a challenge with little ones who can't quite play in the surf & sand. Here are 8 smart ways to keep your baby happy & grit free! Remember the umbrella, sunscreen & sunglasses!

1. Bumbo seat.

2. Oversized beach towel. Complete with an array of textured materials to play with, including easy items like: a spoon,  a ball, a small towel, a can (like a coffee can -the kind with NO sharp EDGE), etc.

3. Beach tent. Great for nappers or really little ones!

4. Baby Travel Bed.

5. Portable crib. - Worth the haul if you'll be spending a long day on the beach. Then you can put the baby in and not worry about him/her eating sand. :)

6.  Play Yard. This one is NOT practical unless you are spending a week or something on the beach. It can be very hlepful for peace of mind near the water!

7. Bouncy Seat

8. Inflatable pool.
This way you can add a little sand and water. Just be sure to supervise if you put any water in there with baby! Just rinse and put a towel in when nappy time.

I love my job, it gives me a break from my kids!

I remember the first time my kid ate sand, for the life of me I couldn't figure out what was in her diaper! Thanks for the containment ideas!
