I went out tonight to see the "XX" and the  City movie with a friend of mine.  (this site won't let me use the word for making love??? WTF??)  It was just what I needed.  My husband left work early so he was home by 5:30, I had dinner ready and my friend picked me up at 6:00.  It felt SO great to walk out the door and get a night off of dinner clean up and getting the kids ready for bed.  By the time I got home at 9:00 it was all done.  It is so important to break your routine from time to time and give each other a night off.  The bonus was that the movie was great.  It was just the type of flick I needed to see tonight.  A perfect escape.  I feel refreshed.  My friend and I made a plan to do it again when Mama Mia comes out.  I can't wait!
