Can't Make It To The Gym?

Posted July 14, 2008 at 5:36PM in Nutrition and Meals General by kidsonthego | Back

I am here to network my business- Kids On The Go!

If you can't afford a plan at your local gym or just don't have the time in your day to schedule a regular work out then here are some tips to use.

You can lose weight and stay fit using these 5 simple tips and ideas.

1. Take the steps. If you encounter times of the day when you are faced with the option of using an elevator or escalator then don't bother and use the steps. Yes its sounds harsh but taking the steps can help lose those pounds.

2. Ride a bike. Stop using that car, taking the bus or train and ride your bike to work or school - only in clear weather of course. This will help your leg muscles and also lower your body fat.

3. Walk. Good old fashioned walking will always do the trick. If you take public transportation then get off the stop before your normal stop from work or school and walk those extra blocks.

4. Go Shopping - yes I said it get out and go shopping - I did not say buy anything - but a good walk around the mall or your neighborhood shopping center will help reduce those pounds.

5. Do the house chores - Vacuum, iron and sweep. The motions within these 3 will help with the arm muscles. Do every room 3 times a week. Two things will happen - you will lose the pounds and also keep your home clean and the closed pressed.

Good Luck and lose those pounds.
