My new favorite tea - Mellow Mama

Posted July 18, 2008 at 1:52PM in Finding a balance and time for yourself by rockergirrl | Back

I am a tea junky.  I am talking real tea.  Loose tea that you brew in a tea pot or tea ball.  The act of having to take a bit more time to brew a pot of tea is in itself what drinking tea is all about.  It is the total opposite of drinking coffee.  I have my favorite tea pot that my husband gave me for Christmas and a slew of teas from my favorite local tea company called Love & Tea blends located in Montpelier VT.

The tins I always have in my house are the Happy Citrus, Lovin' Lemon and Chai of Evolution.  Most recently I found a new blend called Mellow Mama in their Women's Wellness section of their site.  I am sipping a cup right now for the first time and I am in love.  It is the perfect treat to make yourself during the day when things get a bit crazy and you need some calm in your life.  Or better yet finish off you day with a cup after the kiddos have gone to bed.  Best of all - all of  their teas are made with organic herbs and hand crafted in VT.

Check them out and order some up for yourself.  You won't be disapointed.

  Life is crazy but wonderful.

I should do that. I love tea. Is it good cold? I always like my tea iced. My hubby got me a tea pot and a tea ball for christmas last year, but I have never used the loose tea. I usually make some homemade iced tea to take to class with me. I love trying new ones.

I haven't tried it cold but it says on the tin that you can make it that way too.

I like tea but, I always prefer Black tea to tea with milk.
