4 sources for Diaper Coupons

Posted August 21, 2008 at 10:29AM in Ages and Stages by Sticky_Mommy | Back

I love my job, it gives me a break from my kids!

Here are my 4 sources for Diaper Coupons.

We use disposable and cloth diapers. Cloth diapers are an expensive set up cost, but in the long run they pay for themselves, esp if you plan on having more then one kid. For day care and traveling we use disposables which also gets expensive (money & environment wise). Coupons to the rescue!

Yes, you have to register on manufactures sites, but you will get coupons and samples. You can always opt out of the emails or newsletters if your in-box is always full!

Pampers
Huggies
Luvs
eBay

eBay tips
  • Make sure the value of the coupons is more than the auction price. To make it worthwhile, I would look for a savings of $10 to $20. It is easy to find with a little browsing.
  • Make sure the coupons have not expired! Some
sellers list the date in the listing. I would rather see a clear
picture of the coupons so I can read the date myself. Be careful, some
sellers purposely take the pictures at an angle to skew the date.
  • Some coupons are only for specific formula. Some
of the coupons Similac issues are only for the powdered formula or a
specific type of formula. Make sure the coupons are for the formula you
    buy.
  • Only deal with sellers with a positive feedback rating. Personally, I would only deal with a seller with a feedback rating 99% or higher and more than 20 feedback comments.
  • Make the most of your bid. When I browse the
listings I look for multiple coupons in an auction to get the most
savings. An auction with at least four coupons is ideal.
  • Pay attention to the shipping price! Some sellers
like to list the auctions for a very low price, but on closer
inspection the shipping is more than $10! Shipping for coupons should
only be the price of a postage stamp. Most sellers offer free shipping
    as well.

Thank you!

I have to say, I don't understand bidding for coupons on ebay when you can get them for free from the makers?! Sorry, I just don't get it.

This is pretty darned helpful, espeically in this economy, and also with dumps filling up, it's good to know there is a cloth alternative. Thanks!
