take the ECOMOM CHALLENGE like the movie stars!

dishing the dirt, cleaning the chaos

I'm a busy mom. I have 3 boys and I actually drive a Suburban (gasp). I don't commute or go anywhere so I don't feel bad about it. It's the only thing that will haul me, hubby, 3 kids, babysitter, dog, bikes, skateboards, dirtbikes, ramps, groceries, snowboards, boots, beach gear, luggage, etc. Anyway, whatevs...I'm trying to be "real-life" green and when I stumbled upon the ECOMOM CHALLENGE at ecorazzi.com, I thought, now this is good...and it makes me feel like I'm in with the movie stars, ya know? Now, if I could only drink veuve cliquot instead of andre sparkling wine, I'd be living large!

The EcoMom Challenge lays out ten easy-to-follow steps — from
re-thinking your laundry plan to shopping local — on how YOU can help
make a more sustainable future for those adorable little ankle-biters
in your life.

I am proud to say there isn't one thing on that list I don't do.

I love my job, it gives me a break from my kids!

Nice work. I'm pretty friendly (pats self on back).

Will the next one be ginger too??

Well, I had a great long comment but mybaby wouldn't let me post it!! The basics were, these are all great things that most of us do already! My hubby bikes to work everyday and I bike to the grocery store. You'd be surprised how many stores will give you a discount just for riding instead of driving!

yeah we don't have a hybrid but our car actually gets pretty good gas mileage. We only have one car (for financial reasons). My husband bikes to work so I figure we are doing good his way at least.
