Have any of you who have Elementary school age kids have experience with your kids school doing a craft fair to raise money?  I am just wondering if you know if it is in general a successful event for the school or not.

I am thinking or organizing one for my son's school. I think they way people do it is invite vendors from everywhere (not just parents) to sell their goods and they give a percentage of their sales to the school. Not sure what kind of turnout it would have or how much it would generate but I hear of other schools doing them a lot.
