I pick up. I live very close to the school though. I guess it depends on the age. Mine oldest is only in 1st grade. Not sure I want him on a bus with 5th graders quite yet.

  Life is crazy but wonderful.

I let my daughter ride the bus in 2nd grade. Then I started to hear stories from her and others about what was happening on the bus, she never rode it again. The only time she rides the bus is if there is something wrong with my car or her brother is ill and sleeping. Now I drop off and pick up both of my kids.

I have bad memories of riding the bus. I got lunchroom clean up duty for a week after beating up a boy for spitting gum in my hair on the bus ride home in 3rd grade. I have a few years to go before making this decision but I love it when I can pick my son up from preschool and talk with him about his day right away.
