I just did a general search to find out if anyone has posted on this yet. Many of you must have seen the recent Oprah show on how child pornography is blowing up on the internet, at a rate too fast for law enforcement to keep up with. If you didn't see it, you're probably better off as it was very disturbing. It left my husband and I incredibly upset, but it also left us with a solution:

Oprah's team offered detailed instructions on how to write your senators and insist that they pass the Protect Our Children Act. I'm offering you the link:

Here, you will learn how to find the contact information for your state senator. They even provide you with a form letter, you simply cut and paste and insert your name (I also added the last name of my senator at the top). The senators' pages have simple contact forms and you paste and send your letter with a simple click.

The deadline is tomorrow, September 26. I beg you to take five minutes to click through these series of pages and help save the children in our country from torture and abuse. Our government has the technology to locate the criminals, but we lack the manpower (funding) to catch them and see it through. Thanks for hearing me out.
