cheap and educational montessori activities (DEMO)

dishing the dirt, cleaning the chaos

Yes!
I found this lady on the internet...she shows MONTESSORI activities you can do at home. They are cheap, practial AND they really do help with fine/gross/intellectual skills. Supervision required but the little ones will repeat over & over...just remember to demonstrate slowly once or twice and create a space to "work" either on a tray or placemat (or towel, whatever). Then, let them try...

I am SO happy I found this link!

sponge squeezing
sweeping beads
rolling mat / napkin
ladling 1:1
using tongs
