Will the next one be ginger too??
I live in Colorado and the rule extends to secondary schools here. If we want to have a bake sale for a club, it has to be store bought baked goods. Same goes for my classes; I can't bake them cookies for a job well done, I have to buy them. Lame.

Wow. Sad. Very sad that it has come to this.

I love my job, it gives me a break from my kids!
WHAT?! What is the reason behind it? Allergies? At our daycare we have to get permission if we want to bring in a snack to share for birthdays. But we also take turns bringing in snacks for the class, and I've made mini muffins in the past with no problem. LAME.

dishing the dirt, cleaning the chaos
whoa, that BLOWS. I guess there are some healthier options but still, this is one of those annoying PC inconveniences.

Not really evil, just my step-daughter's opinion
Is this for tamper control? it's so much more $ to buy store bought stuff!
