dishing the dirt, cleaning the chaos
you know, I'm down...and when the big bulge series comes out...I'll have my way with it (on the hill!)oh, right, that's where the issue may arise (pun? not sure)...would they do that for women's? as a girl who worked in shops...this pin-up thing (oh the stories I could tell) will never change and I like that burton has the "bulge" to do this.

I guess my main issue is I don't really see it as them having the "bulge" to do it. It is so over done. Girls on boards - big freakin' deal. To me it almost so not edgy and outdated. I think it is just lame that they feel like they have to do this to be edgy. honestly a few years ago it would have upset me more but honestly this is so tame compared to other things they have done on products that it just doesn't bother me all that much. I personally think it is lame and I do find playboy degrading towards women so I am certainly not a fan of these boards and would never let my boys ride one but I think it is kind of funny that people actually think they can write letters and they will pull them from stores. This reaction is exactly what they want. I think parents need to worry more about what their kids are viewing online at their friends houses then they do about maybe seeing one of these boards on the hill.

no kidding- I'm not saying I'm shocked- trust me I agree- and I've seen more guns, ammo and drug stuff on graphics (not necessarily burton!) so a handful of hot-half naked girls...whatever. I just think it wasn't a "safe" decision and they went for it- not necessarily edgy...the only thing is, I want a hot, young buck on my board...will that happen? if only we could ask women's marketing :)

I love my job, it gives me a break from my kids!
I think it shows a lack of creativity and desperation on their part. Adding some T&A and few cuss words is easy, and not edgy. It's sad, they used to be a forwarding thinking company and now it's more of the "me too" policy.
